Review Policy

Thank you for your requesting a book review for my consideration at Vamp Cats Book Blog. Below you’ll find a detailed outline of what types and formats of books I accept, how I promote my reviews, and my contact information. Requests

I love being asked to review new books, and I'll respond to all request e-mails. I will try to review all the books i'm offered, but please be aware that I may not review a book I have accepted, if I find it does not fit into the genre of books I read or it contains offensive material etc.

Genres

I will accept requests for fiction & non fiction books, as long as they come under the fantasy genre. I usually read fiction, but would be interested in non fiction. I may also, consider self-published books for review.

Book Formats

I accept most formats for review, and I'm also happy to wait for finished copies of a book. I do not exclusively blog about new books, so would be happy to consider backlist titles (see my book index) some of which I may have already done. I write honest reviews, so if you send me a book I’m going to write what I think, and will not be pressured into changing my reviews if you don't like what I've written. However, I take pride in trying to understand what an author was trying to accomplish and sharing that with my readers, even if it didn’t work for me. Not every book I dislike is bad, and I try to be honest about what I didn’t enjoy so my readers can judge the book themselves.

Blog Stats

My blog is new, but I'm working hard to promote it across the social media networks available to me. I hope you will give me a chane to review your books.

I would love links to my review from author of publicists websites, and am open to having quotes used in publicity materials – just please let me know. Please also attribute all quotations to Sue Brighton aka Vamp Cat and include a link to the review
